Outreach and Admissions is the gateway to Job Corps. It is the first contact potential applicants have with the program, and the first time they and their families encounter Job Corps’ culture. 

OA contractors will actively engage in:

• Providing staff with training and ongoing professional development to better serve ELL youth
• Researching ELL needs and community resources
• Developing and disseminating recruitment materials targeted to potential ELL applicants
• Assessing ELL applicant language skills using language survey and other tools designed to meet the needs of ELL applicants
• Monitoring effectiveness of ELL outreach activities
